Directions to Clover Garden School from the interstate
Get off of I40/I85 at exit 140, University Drive, and travel toward Elon (follow the signs). You will stay on University Drive for a little over 2.5 miles until just after you cross the train tracks (through several stoplights; travel in the left lane so that you are not forced into a right-turn-only lane; the name of the road will change to Cook Road at the intersection with Westbrook Road and becomes a 2-lane road there).
Immediately after crossing the train tracks, turn right onto Burlington Road (also called Haggard Avenue).
Turn left almost immediately at the next stoplight onto Route 100 East (University Drive again). Follow Route 100 East until the next stoplight. (This part of Route 100 is new and does not yet appear on Google or Mapquest maps. The Route 100 shown on the map is the old Route 100.)
Turn left onto Shallowford Church Road at that light.
Then turn left at the next stoplight onto Route 87 North. You will travel on Route 87 for almost 4 miles. You will pass Western High School on the right, pass Altamahaw-Ossipee Elementary on the left, and then cross a bridge.
After you cross the bridge, turn right onto Altamahaw-Union Ridge Road (at the Ace Speedway Sign). Clover Garden is 2.4 miles ahead, on your right, on Altamahaw-Union Ridge Rd. The gymnasium entrance is off the third driveway entrance of the school.
